Brocade 7800 Extension Switch – это FC маршрутизатор формфактора 1U, на борту которого установлено 16 портов FC 8 Гбит/с и 6 портов 1GbE, предназначенных для передачи данных на большие расстояния по технологии FCIP. Коммутатор Brocade 7800 позволяет создать быструю, надежную и недорогую сетевую инфраструктуру для осуществления удаленной репликации, резервного копирования и миграции данных. Brocade 7800 предоставляет высоконадежное и безопасное удаленное соединение благодаря таким инновационным функциям, как маршрутизация Fibre Channel (FCR), аппаратное сжатие, шифрование IPsec, а также оптимизация SCSIопераций чтения и записи. Коммутатор может поставляться в трех конфигурациях с различным количеством активных портов, что делает егоидеальным гибким решением для расширения SAN любого размера.
